KURANG LEBIH
Management meeting/company trip..or more like a shopping heaven to
Will post up pictures when I am not too lazy but however, the trip really brought me closer to a few people at the work place..it made me happier and felt like I belonged!
Many of us, Alhamdulillah wasn’t me..had food poisoning, stomach discomfort, headaches, vomiting..well, basically sick due to the food (must be the sambal) and also the many trip up and down the hill as the roads were really tight and winding.
Anyhow, the day we left, it rained heavily so Air Asia provided us with umbrellas in order to get into the plane..and the ride was really bumpy and a bit scary as well. Me and 2 other colleagues had a blast sitting in the plane, making noise and an entertainment happened when 1 of my colleague headed to the toilet but I shall not share the story here..hahaha..secret hush hush la..kesian la..malu dier nanti.
We touched down and getting the luggage was ridiculous..here we were in a small tiny airport and about 50 over people rushing to the one and ONLY conveyor belt..crowded around the little conveyor belt trying to get the luggage was AMAZING!! Thankfully for our great “tour leader” he and she got all our bags in no time. But remember if ANY OF YOU think that you want to go
We started off the day by having lunch and then straight away was SHOPPING!! Everyday was just about lunch, shopping and shopping until dinner, only the last day we did a bit of sightseeing which was really great!!!
I am kind of, well actually really lazy to blog nowadays..I will promise to find more time to blog at least once a week then I won’t have too much updates to do..for now let the pictures speak for itself okay..when I have more free and not lazy time this POST WILL BE UPDATED!!!
Gnitesss…I am getting old tomorrow..*hint*hint* :-)

CD Review
Having an office in a shopping mall, you would think that it will be fun..for girls that is..you get the first hand information of anything that goes on sale, you have many varieties of shops to ogle at and shop and also the varieties of food to choose from.
However, be warned that parking at a designated area just to get into office that people tend to watch you as your timing is almost about the same to punch in for work..I guess that was a mistake I learned. Would you choose convenience over safety? Well, I felt that it was safe, the parking lot is brightly lit and at 9ish a.m. the parking area is not dark and there are other workers parking as well.
I do not finish work the same time everyday as it depends on the work load. However, one evening I drove back thinking there was a flier stuck to my car, so as usual I just used my wiper to brush it off. After that, there was no sign of it. I only realized that there was something stuck in between my bonnet and the windscreen when I had an appointment the following day.
Picked it up and I saw a CD there, not looking at the CD I just chucked it onto the front passenger seat. At the traffic light, I picked it up and noticed that it was a PORN CD!! Someone had placed that CD onto my windscreen..but why a PORN CD?? No one knows my car at work nor do they know where I park as I have never bumped into anyone from work in the car park as they always come in late..
Just to be safe, I have re-parked my car and shall park my car in various areas of the shopping mall car park. For now, it’s a CD and I need to be extra careful and be more attentive to who is around me and who is watching me.

Find the meaning of Air-Con..
I have watched the numerous previews/ads on ASTRO and read reviews of it in the newspaper..I knew I had to watch it! Shah, my ex-housemate in Budapest sms-ed saying that he could get tickets to the play for student rate and without hesitation I agreed, not forgetting to ask B to join but B wanted to skip it. SUCH A SHAME!! It’s a really really damn good play!
Wondering around in Bangsar, Cupcake called and asked what my plans was for that night and without hesitation too Cupcake tried to get the tickets and to our amazement, managed to get the last few tickets!!WOOHOO!! Cupcake brought Surfer for Surfer’s first time ever and yes..it was a damn good play to bring Surfer too!!YAY!!
Knowing that it was free seating, I arrived half an hour earlier as told by Shah but he was late!! Met Shank as he got there earlier..and we made sure to get in first to booked the seats. The play started on time and it was full house! Didn’t realize Cupcake and the rest were on my right side until I heard my name a few times..sorry, was so into reading the synopsis of the play!
Air-Con:
A school. A dead body. A scandal...
Chep and Burn are top students in Sekolah Menengah Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Mukarram Shah, an elite school in Kedah. Burn is the school’s golden boy (Head Prefect, Captain of the Hockey Team) and his best friend Chep is feared and admired by the younger boys for his quick temper and skill on the hockey field.
The school is well respected for its strong academic and sports record. However the discovery of a dead prostitute in the abandoned railway tracks near their school unravels the status quo and we discover a less golden world of bullying, sex crimes and violence.
Best friends William and Asif go from innocence to experience as they are caught up in the repercussions of the murder. But who is really responsible for the murder, and will they be held accountable?
Air Con challenges and interrogates the hypocritical habit of turning youth into scapegoats in times of moral panic. Ultimately, it casts a gentle albeit unflinching gaze at the perilous path of male adolescence, and interrogates the heartbreaking ways in which society often expects boys to become men.
Air Con is award winning singer-songwriter Shanon Shah’s first full-length play, developed under the banner of The Instant Cafe Theatre Company's (ICT) FIRSTWoRKS playwriting programme.
Directed by Jo Kukathas and Zalfian Fuzi and introducing Amerul Affendi, Firdaus Che Yahaya, Hazarul Hasnain, Nick Davis, Ryan Lee Baskaran and Zahiril Adzim. Also featuring performances by Nam Ron, Chew Kin Wah, Dara Othman and Ismady Wakiri.
Presented in Bahasa Malaysia (Kedah dialect) and English, with subtitles. (text courtesy of Kakiseni.com)
The play went out for 2 hours, almost 3 hours with a 15 minutes break, just enough to step out, stretch your legs and it’s back in again. The sound effects of some scenes actually sent shivers down my spine a bit..it touched on issues that happens in real life and the dialogues used were your daily sentences *uncensored*..it got a standing ovation and I wished B and my other friends could watch and relate to it. The person that Shah and I thought would love it is KS as KS was played very well by one of the actors/actress in the play..well sort of..
A play filled with everything..the acting was great..KUDOS to all!!

Tea Time Terror
Tea time terror: That was the email circulated amongst the few of us to keep in touch and meet up at least once a week, however that has not been a ritual as yet. But, we do try to meet up and I appreciate them all for trying to do so J Although, writing this blog post I do not remember the exact date of this gathering as I have been outdated in blogging my own blog! Can’t make it interesting enough as yet..too many things to do too little time..
Unfortunately, I did not take out my camera to snap pictures as there was Michelle and Reny’s camera to pose with. Three’s a crowd, ya know..hehe!
Anyhow people, appreciate the time spent @ the Apartment, Curve. Our next SIAO gathering is long overdue.

Cut and Untitled
Since I started working not too long ago, one habit I made sure I did was to budget my spending. Maybe I should have done this a long time ago but the point is, I got it started. J So proud of myself..hehe..
I have found ways to cut down costs daily..even RM1 mattered as when you calculate for a month it saves you RM30. It helps as prices of things are going up! Kuey teow used to cost RM 3 but now it’s either RM4 or RM 4.50. So the must haves in my handbags besides the usual essentials, I have added a buku 555! J Well, it’s a notebook of that size but not the old-skool buku 555-la!
After being away from Aliyaa for about a month..I finally stepped back into Aliyaa a few weeks ago. I really liked that place from the first time I went there. Aliyaa, a little cosy pub with a live band..sipping on my Ginger Beer and I got the 2nd one FREE!!HAHA! Rocker entertained us that night with “Mr. Brightside” and I am sorry but can’t recall the other song..but he rocked! Finally, Cupcake went there..YAY!
Next up, went to Euphoria by Ministry of Sound @ Sunway Resort Hotel with Cupcake. Getting there was a breeze but there were so many cars and I met a handful of friends just parking the car! Sorry-lah, never met so many friends at one go at a parking lot. Waited for Cupcake in the car..and before reaching Cupcake said “I forgot the invitation card but should be okay right, cause I RSVP-ed” but we weren’t allowed in so waited for R to get us in..but it was all good..Cupcake and I got to cuci mata a bit..haha!
We had fun and planned to leave early but somehow getting out of the club was another hassle altogether :P I liked the place and remembered how Arena used to look like back in the old days..hanged out with 100plus after so long not partying with 100plus, it was a nice quiet catch-up session @ the Deck area..it was brightly lit and yes, Euphoria is a non smoking club. YAY! They answered my prayers!!HAHA! But they did have DSA – Designated Smoking Area in the club..the toilets had quirky icons at the door and there was a lot of couches/chairs around the whole club to sit your ass anywhere..and good too if you wore 3inches heels, you get to take a break anywhere! :P 5 thumbs up to the club! But I heard, cover charge is quite costly and the drinks too..
And yes, I did go to work the next day but after leaving my weekdays clubbing night out for more than a few years, I was DEAD TIRED and SLEEPY but I lasted the day through, rushed home and zonked out early!
My final post, last night whilst some friends partied at the launch of Euphoria and some went to Mambo..I did my bit for charity by going to the HANCOCK Charity Premiere with my mummzie, aunty and cousin. It was free seating so mummzie and my aunty grabbed seats for us whilst we waited outside for friends..they took our hand phones , cameras, laptops and other electrical items and sealed it in a bag. The movie started out a bit POYO, lengthy introduction but the momentum built up and the ending was sweet and sour. Good movie but still need a bit of work on the effects bit..But my man WILL, you will always make a good movie!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my lil niece..you are 5 today! HUGS!!
